LYDIA BUCKLER (FOUNDER)
Lydia has been passionate about movement from a child, be it countless hours of dance classes or attempting back flips off the living room sofa- it made her feel alive. Her initial discovery of Yoga was in her later teenage years, the curiosity in the practice continually grew from this point.
Almost ten years on from then Lydia trained to be a yoga teacher and immersed herself in the wider practice. Training & working as a contemporary dancer, Lydia was curious to learn people’s yogic journeys from all different walks of life, ages, physicality's & capabilities, consequently learning what it really means to teach yoga, share and encourage experiences. Lydia furthered her studies with dynamic practices of The Rocket and Mandala Vinyasa & Shamanism with The Yoga People in 2017 and later went on to train in Pregnancy Yoga.
Lydia teaches a vitalising & powerful practice that is dappled with functional movement and explorative sequencing. Believing, that the practice of yoga should not be about embodying an idealistic view of how it should look but rather connecting our conscious mind to a feeling. Additionally, and possibly most importantly, representing the ethos that yoga is a full-bodied experience that lingers long after the physical practice. Lydia gives huge thanks to all of her teachers that inspired her curiosity in this practice.

AI BRITTON
I’m a passionate Reformer Pilates teacher and UK Registered Dietitian, combining expertise in movement and nutrition. My background spans ballet and contemporary which I studied for years at the Royal Academy of Dance, later branching into hip hop and street dance. Unfortunately later on, a nerve condition in my feet left me on crutches for 18 months. Pilates was key to my rehabilitation which helped me to walk again and later recovery from a slipped disc, helping me become my strongest yet. I’ve trained as a Reformer instructor (2024), mat Pilates (2023), personal trainer (2022), and Zumba instructor (2013), plus pre/postnatal Reformer most recently (2025 Ten Health & Fitness). I believe Pilates benefits everyone—whether for fitness or recovery. My classes are dynamic, creative with elements of dance, and full-body focused, with props, great playlists, and positive energy to inspire strength from the inside out.

GIOVINA GUERRA
Giovina came to yoga about 9 years ago and clearly remembers that, after coming out of her first class, she felt so alive and present. Coming from a background of dance, fitness and theatre body movement she has always been fascinated by the ways our body can communicate, feel and express while creating an inner safe space to develop self-awareness, acceptance and love. She completed her 200-hours TT in Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2006 at Breeze, followed by a 50-hours Rocket training with It’s Yoga International, led by Jamie Blowers and has been regularly teaching for the past 3 years. What she aims to do in her classes is creating a supportive, welcoming and pressure-free environment. The intention is to provide balanced challenges for the body, the mind and the ego by inviting students to listen to their bodies, befriend their breath and embark on their own unique journey towards becoming their best version of themselves while having fun at the same time. Giovina has recently completed a 50-hour Yin & Chakras and a 20-hour Mandala Yoga Training, both with the Yoga People here in London. Besides teaching yoga, both to adults and children, Giovina is also qualified to teach aerial yoga and has recently successfully completed her Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.

She is interested in how each of us can move with more ease and efficiency, and how Pilates can help us to improve posture, alignment, body-awareness and a general sense of wellbeing. Her teaching style is calm and clear, and she always aims to center the bodies in front of her, observing, adjusting and correcting to help refine and improve movement patterns.
She first came to Pilates during her dance training, and found it to be the perfect tonic that would help her to reorganise and rebalance her body and mind every day, and now thoroughly enjoys sharing this experience with others!

HELEN VASSAR
Helen Vassar has been practicing Pilates since 2013. After battling with chronic back pain for 10 years, Helen found that regular Pilates practice helped her to understand the source of pain in the body and gave her a big step towards being able to treat it. Following her own journey of discovery, Helen became passionate about Pilates, and in 2019, she trained with Polestar Pilates UK, and is now a certified Equipment and Mat Pilates Practitioner. Working in an office for many years, Helen understands well what parts of the body become tense, underused, and, for many, a source of constant pain. By building awareness of postural habits and doing exercises to combat this, Helen helps her clients feel a real sense of achievement after every class.

MIRIAM BRIGHBART
Yoga, for me, is about coming home to yourself. There are limitless possibilities for self-discovery and acceptance through yoga, and I truly believe that through exploration and play everyone can develop a stronger relationship with themselves.
I was never particularly athletic growing up, and struggled with anxiety throughout my teenage years. Finding yoga taught me a new approach to movement and body awareness that felt like the best type of healing. In time, I cultivated a yoga practice off the mat, exploring compassion, mindfulness and gratitude in all aspects of my life.
As I develop my teaching, I am diving deeper into what I truly want to bring to other peoples' lives - functional, fun movement which is powerful but accessible, breath centred practices which tap into our nervous systems and release stress, and mindful philosophies which help us tune into the present moment and understand our own needs and desires. This practice is not one size fits all so no matter what your experience or background is, I'd love to share this with you!

SAHAR NAVA
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years while working in the architecture industry. My passion for form, structure, and movement is reflected in how I explore the physical practice of yoga. I did my first teacher training in 2017 in Bali, followed by a 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa TT in 2020. I teach and practice dynamic vinyasa. Expect a challenging and yet accessible flow that suits everyone’s practice. Throughout the practice, I suggest different variations and modifications, and give optional adjustments. I also encourage setting and reviewing intentions, connecting to breath, being present and compassionate towards yourself and others, finding a joyful equilibrium between softness and strength, and making the practice your own.
Although working passionately as a socio-environmental researcher and design tutor, yoga has been a persistent discipline and motivator for me. Throughout many challenges in life, yoga has been a haven. In places where I did not understand the spoken languages, hearing the Sanskrit names of asanas gave me a sense of connection and grounding. I integrate different elements from the pillars of yoga into the physical asanas, cultivating a holistic practice. I am passionate about sharing this practice through the community class to carry on and off the mat.

ZOË MARKOS-THRESHER
For many years, movement to Zoë had only ever existed in the context of sport and competition. She unexpectedly stumbled across yoga whilst travelling and working abroad; and what once seemed like a fun, challenging class to go to once in a while, gradually became a consistent and non-negotiable practice.
What brings Zoë back to yoga every time is the profound power this practice has to peel away all those unwanted layers of beliefs that we've gathered over time about ourselves. To be able to turn up as you are, bring it wherever you are, with no pressure of it looking a certain way and being okay with whatever the outcome - this was the magic that kept bringing her back to the mat.
Zoë teaches a dynamic vinyasa practice but also loves any opportunity to teach a slow, restorative flow to calm and settle. Whatever the class, you will find the focus on going deeper into the breath rather than deeper into the pose. Weaved into her flows you will find strength, mobility, playfulness, stillness and movement combined. This practice is yours and this space is your playground to explore, and breathe, of course!

ZOË ROWE
I discovered yoga over 12 years ago in a hot yoga studio in Sydney. Initially addicted to the sweat, I soon discovered the additional benefits of the practice. I’m passionate about sharing the tools yoga brings to be present in the moment, see the beauty in what’s around us and find joy in the smallest things. I love teaching a playful but challenging class, whether that’s through dynamic vinyasa, a mindful flow, or finding stillness in Yin. Passionate about counteracting the impact of London’s busy, sedentary lifestyle on our body and minds, I aim to incorporate functional movement into my classes. My main styles of yoga I practice and teaches include dynamic Mandala Vinyasa and Rocket classes, functional movement and mindful focussed flows, and finding stillness in Yin and Yoga Nidra classes.
